Central District Homicide Arrest

In reference to the Homicide that occurred on February 13, 2026, in the Central District, Homicide Detectives have arrested 52-year-old Brian Burrows of Baltimore.

Burrows was arrested in connection with a commercial armed robbery and the fatal shooting of Khaled Saleh Mohamed Alshariki in the 1000 block of North Broadway. 

On February 19, 2026, Warrant Apprehension detectives apprehended Brian Burrows at a home in the 5200 block of Linden Heights, transporting him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with First-Degree Murder. Burrows was also charged in connection with a Commercial Armed Robbery that occurred in the 1400 block of North Bond Street on February 15, 2026.

Central District Homicide Investigation

 On February 13, 2026, at approximately 9:27 a.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of N. Broadway for a shooting.

 Upon arrival, officers located a 36-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. 

 The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

 Homicide Detectives responded and are investigating this incident. Preliminary information suggests that this incident is the result of a robbery gone bad.
